I love a good read that reminds me about how people cross our life path for a reason and that there is no coincidence in life. Everything happens for a reason. This book reminds me of these in each chapter. Though this is a fictional work, it seems very, very real. It is a story about near death experiences and how the lives of the characters intertwine. The author’s vivid and extensive descriptions of each character and their experiences had me THERE during the fierce battles of right and wrong, good and evil. I found myself holding my breath at times and rooting for the heroines and heroes. This is Diane Marshall’s first novel and sincerely hope she continues publishing more great stories.
